Indulge in the comfort of three bedrooms and one bathroom, all adorned with panoramic mountain views that will leave you in awe. Two bedrooms feature cozy queen-size beds with magnificent vistas, while the third bedroom offers two twin-size beds. In the inviting lounge area, you'll find two day beds. Linen is provided for your convenience, and we suggest bringing additional beach towels if you plan to take a refreshing swim in the nearby river.

Our log cottage is fully self-contained, boasting a well-equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare delectable meals with ease and a Nespresso cappuccino machine. Warm yourself by the crackling log fire in the main living area during wintertime, and let the electric blankets on the beds ensure snug warmth. While a TV is provided, we encourage you to embrace the spirit of togetherness by bringing along games and a pack of cards instead. Nature lovers will appreciate the full-size bathroom featuring a shower and toilet, which allows you to revel in the beauty of the great outdoors while enjoying modern comfort.

As a pet-friendly retreat, we gladly welcome your furry companions, subject to a small additional fee. Kindly bring your own bedding and feeding bowls for your beloved pets, and we kindly request that they refrain from climbing onto beds or chairs. Additionally, please be diligent in cleaning up after them.

The site is situated in the Blue Mountains near Mudgee, and a trout stream winds its way through the valley. These accommodations offer sensational mountain views, making this an all-year-round favorite holiday destination for Australian couples and families. Guests can enjoy waking up to the sounds of the bush, and the chatter of the birds and animals who come to the river to drink.

The property offers a unique Aussie holiday with wild kangaroos bounding past guests' door and limited mobile phone reception—this is a real break from city life. It's located 12 kilometers down a well-graded dirt road from the highway and is safe for two-wheel-drive (2WD) vehicles.

The property offers plenty of outdoor activities, but some guests just love the tranquility of the site and prefer to indulge in a quiet night roasting marshmallows, playing Yahtzee, and reading, which can be done with ease.

Horseback riding might be an activity guests will want to do; they can certainly jump the fallen trees and rocky streams. Furthermore, there are horse riding trails to suit all abilities and ages, and hourly, half, or full day rates are available for adults and children. The Turon River boasted as having crystal clear blue water, is a freshwater trout stream and perfect for all dedicated fly fisherman and curious dogs. The fishing season extends from the October to June. guests will need to bring personal fishing gear and a valid license.

Some other activities that can be enjoyed are canoeing, panning for gold, and hiking the local terrain. The property contains no less than 15 kilometers of river and thousands of acres of magical bush-land to discover. Guests can follow the old Chinese 'gold rush' water race up the river, or bring their dog to explore the river's edge or walk the countless trails available to be explored.

Other general activities include swimming, mountain biking, climbing, photography, and even a round of golf. This property is full of local animals; kangaroos, wombats, platypus, possums, bush lizards, and much more roam the property regularly. The area is renowned for its array of birds, so guests are encouraged to bring along a pair of binoculars to discover all the wildlife.

Additional info

When checking out of the accommodation, guests should please leave it clean and tidy or a cleaning fee may be added to the guest's account. The final payment is required two weeks prior to arrival in order to secure the booking. The GST tax is included in the rates, and a 15% surcharge is added on school and public holidays.

Guests are asked to bring bedding and bowls for pets as well as a leash for the outdoors. The hosts do request that guests pick up after their animals.

Smoking is only allowed outside.

There is a $100 hold on the guests card as a security deposit. This will be released to the guest after check out considering no damages are to be claimed.
