We really enjoyed our time. What a beautiful piece of property. The bathrooms and Yurt were very clean and the hospitality was wonderful. We loved the neighboring towns and what they had to offer. We will be back soon!
Really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved the cabin. David and Joanne have done a wonderful job making the rentals welcoming and stocked with great supplies to ensure a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back to this cabin.
What our past guests have said about glamping:
It was an experience my boys will never forget! Thank you Leslie for your awesome service!
It was my family and I's first time glamping & we are so glad that we chose this place! The stay was amazing, my whole family loved it. The area was quiet. The only thing we didn't like was that, most of the activities were a bit of a drive. We got to explore Lake Hemet but that was it. Joshua Tree was a 1.30hr drive away. Other than that, everything else was perfect for our mini vacation!
Fantastic experience at the yurt.
My husband and 18month old lab mix have been enjoying the past few days at the yurt and it been so much fun. There's a shower, flushable toilet, kitchen with running water and a cozy living areas. We've cooked out on the grill and built a camp fire every night.
There are a couple hiking trails on the property that we've explored and our dog has absolutely loved, considering she's a city dog. There's even a hose outside to wash off your dog, which came in real handy when she rolled in poop the first night.
I brought my yoga mat and have woken up to yoga and tea every morning on the deck. There's ample space to lay out, enjoy the scenery and have a beverage or two.
About a 15 min drive away is a quaint town called Hamilton where Colgate university is. Beautiful historic compass with tons of one grass fields and architectural gems.
Also went on a few hiking trails and Charles e baker state forest is a must see. Great day hike or even an overnight camping trip. But even when we're not feeling up to the drive there plenty of nature and serenity just outside the yurt
It's been a great trip so far and tonight's the last night before a 12 hr road trip back to Chicago. Luckily the bed is super comfortable and enough room for my husband, 65 lb lab and I to test up.
Oh. Last thing. Every night we've had a wonderful firefly light show in the woods behind the yurt. We've been able to play some tunes, sit by the fire and enjoy a visual delight in the trees.
Truly recommend this cozy, comfortable, clean and serene yurt experience. We've been converted. #yurtlife
