Turon Gates is self-catering so just bring food and drinks for your stay. Each cabin is fully self-contained and you should have everything you need to make delicious meals and have a comfortable stay, including a hammock for relaxing outdoors with a good book. There is even a yummy Nespresso cappuccino machine! Linen is included but if you would like to swim in the river, bringing your own beach towels is recommended. Outside each cabin there is a private firepit with camp chairs provided to enjoy a campfire under the stars. There is also an outdoor dining table and gas BBQ for enjoying meals outdoors.
While pets are welcome to stay for a small extra charge, they are not allowed on beds or chairs and should have their own bedding and feeding bowls.
Turon Gates is completely off-grid and is primarily powered with solar energy with gas for stoves and BBQs. And by special plan - no TVs and limited wifi - simply enjoy the serenity of the Australian bush! Please note there is no mobile phone reception down in the valley and there is no telephone in the cabin for your complete rest and relaxation.

The fishing season extends from the October to June. guests will need to bring personal fishing gear and a valid license.

The property contains no less than 15 kilometers of river and thousands of acres of magical bush-land to discover. Guests can follow the old Chinese 'gold rush' water race up the river, or bring their dog to explore the river's edge or walk the countless trails available to be explored.
Other general activities include swimming, mountain biking, climbing, photography, and even a round of golf. This property is full of local animals; kangaroos, wombats, platypus, possums, bush lizards, and much more roam the property regularly. The area is renowned for its array of birds, so guests are encouraged to bring along a pair of binoculars to discover all the wildlife.
