Hillsborough County

Hillsborough County is located in western Florida whose largest city is Tampa. Glamping in Hillsborough County, you’ll find the Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuge, along with a number of state parks in which to hike, bike, and explore to your heart’s content, such as Apollo Beach Nature Preserve, Lithia Springs Regional Park, and Alexander Park, to name a few. Tampa can be found along the western coastline in the Tampa Bay by the Gulf of Mexico, with landmarks like the Sulphur Springs Water Tower, Bayshore Boulevard, and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. There are many other main attractions in Tampa, however, that are great for glampers of all ages, including Busch Gardens, Big Cat Rescue, the Tampa Theatre, and the Tampa Electric Manatee Viewing Center at Apollo Beach. Be prepared to dine on delectable dishes with an influence from Cuban, Spanish, Caribbean, and Italian cuisine while luxury camping in Hillsborough County, too. The Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City in Tampa is the oldest and largest Spanish restaurant in the state and comes highly recommended.
