This pet-friendly stone cottage in Alpine, Texas is the perfect accommodation for a glamping getaway - spacious, comfortable, secluded, and accessible. There are three bedrooms with double beds and two rooms with two single beds with linens provided by the host. There are two full bathrooms in the rental. There is a dining room with seating for eight people, a beautiful living room, and two fantastic screened-in porches. The cottage sits on an acre of land and has a huge lawn with great views of Cathedral Mountain. Far from the lights of town, at night guests have a great chance to spot different stars and constellations. There are two televisions and a diverse library of books for guests to enjoy. Big Bend National Park is approximately one hour and 15 minutes driving from the glamping property for guests to take advantage of. There are over 100 miles of paved roads and 160 miles of backcountry dirt roads providing challenges for riders of all types and abilities. Fishing the Rio Grande is something that is fun for visitors of all ages, guests can also go horseback riding, bird watching, and hiking. There are also paved roads and improved dirt roads for scenic drives through the park, or simply take a picnic and blanket and relax.
Alpine is approximately 30 minutes from the glamping property where there are lots of cool places to check out. Museum of the Big Bend, Hallie's Hall of Fame Museum, Rock Hunting in the Big Bend of Texas with Teri Smith, and Mariscal Mine are just a portion of attractions to check out. Guests can also go dining, shopping, or watch a performance at the theater while visiting Alpine.
