Cozy Log Cabin Rental by Broken Bow Lake near Hochatown, Oklahoma
This log cabin is across the road from Broken Bow Lake and only a few minutes away from Hochatown, making it perfect for family getaways to the area. It can accommodate up to 10 guests.
There are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. All three bedrooms each have a king-size bed. The sofa in the loft can be pulled into a double-size bed. Two chairs in the living room can be pulled into twin-sized beds. In addition, the cabin has two double air mattresses to sleep any extra guests.
Both of the full bathrooms come with a toilet, a sink, and a bathtub and shower combination. The half-bathroom just comes with a toilet and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.
The living room features nice furniture, a flat-screen TV, and a two-story fireplace. The upstairs loft serves as a game room with a foosball table, shuffleboard, and collection of board games. There is also a wet bar, another flat-screen TV, and a lounge area with comfortable furniture.
The fully-equipped kitchen contains a fridge, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. Other amenities include heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, cable and satellite, and an iron and ironing board.
Behind the cabin, there is a private and furnished multi-level deck. One level is open and the other level is covered. The covered deck has a spacious dining area with a gas BBQ grill. There is a covered cabana near the deck with a large hot tub. The backyard is surrounded by towering pine trees and comes with a fire pit and a horseshoe ring.

Broken Bow Lake flows into the rapids of Mountain Fork River, about 20 minutes away from the cabin. Guests can go canoeing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting along the river.
Guests can spend the day at Beavers Bend State Park. The park has many nature trails suitable for hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. Guests can also have picnics or ride ATVs at the park.
The cabin is a short drive away from Hochatown State Park, where guests can go hiking, cycling, and golfing. Additionally, they can hike up into the Ouachita Mountains where they can ride mountain bikes, climb up the cliffs, or zip-line over the treetops.
When guests want to take a break from the rapids or the mountains, they can relax in the towns of Broken Bow and Hochatown. Both towns have many unique shops and popular restaurants. Broken Bow has a golf course where guests can play a round of 18 holes, as well as a vineyard and a brewery offering tours and tasting events. Families can take their kids to a petting zoo or mini-golf in Hochatown. History buffs can tour the Forest Center Heritage Museum or the Gardner Mansion and Museum, which celebrate Indian heritage and pioneer history.
