Titus

Titus is a small town in Elmore County, Alabama. For nearly two decades, Titus has been the home of the beloved Titus Bluegrass Festival, which showcases bluegrass music and gospel music, as well as offering some of the best barbeque in the South, and numerous arts and crafts at local stalls. Titus is also close to Lake Jordan, a 6,800-acre impoundment on the Coosa River with 188 miles of shoreline. This area is excellent for fishing, as it is very fertile and supports high densities of sports fish and forage species. In addition to fishing, the lake is excellent for boating, swimming, and fishing. Check out the nearby hiking as well, such as the Russell Trail System and Smith Mountain Alpine Trail.
