Accommodation Description

· Pets allowed · Jacuzzi/Hot Tub · Private Barbecue

This pet-friendly tent cabin in California can accommodate two glampers and multiple dogs and sits in its own large, fenced-in compound that is surrounded by Ribbonwood trees. It comes with a queen-size bed with a heated mattress pad and lovely, forested, mountain views. Consisting of a 16-by-20-foot safari tent, the accommodation comes with a huge, furnished deck with a barbecue, and a hot tub with panoramic views of the valley below. Furnishings and construction were created with many natural and recycled materials, including native, incense cedar trees killed from the Cedar FIre of 2003.

The bathroom and kitchen were crafted from re-purposed pine planks from a previous remodeling project. In the bathroom, there is a clawfoot bathtub with unparalleled views of the surrounding area, as well as a shower, a sink, and toiletries. There is a fully equipped kitchen, in addition to a charcoal barbecue with a pizza oven attachment for guests to make homemade pizzas. In the living room, there is a fireplace to cozy up around during the nights. Wi-Fi is provided. Read More

The weather in southern California is fantastic, but it gets particularly hot in summer, and guests should be aware that the accommodation does not have air conditioning. They should also be aware that when the temperature drops below 50 degrees in the winter, the fireplace is not sufficient for keeping it warm. Guests should check the forecast before their stay in case they want to cancel—but they must cancel within a week of their stay. Read more
