Description of Glamping Units
This Pet-Friendly family cabin contains two bedrooms, the master with a queen-size bed and the loft room with two single bed. The master room provides a chest of draws and built in wardrobe, offering guests plenty of storage space during their stay. This glamping site has an open cathedral ceiling living and dining room with marvelous views of the lake through the triple sliding glass doors. The living room leads out to an oversized deck with a propane grill and deck furniture, creating a lovely area to have meals outside with the dog. Inside guests also have access to a full kitchen with a fridge, a gas stove cooker, a big plate sink, and granite counter tops.
There is one bathroom for the property, with a walk in shower. Downstairs the family room is perfect for sitting down with the family and the dog, while watching a movie on the big screen satellite TV and DVD player. This glamping site it is about one hour from Baxter State Park (Route 11 north) and about one hour from Bangor (the largest city in that part of Maine), where guests can venture to for some exciting sightseeing and local attractions and spend days visiting the museums and library. Guests are invited to bring their own boat, kayak, canoe, ATV, and snowmobile, or alternatively, they can rent from the hosts.
