- It is at the discretion of each individual host as to whether the booking can be rescheduled to another available date. If you cancel at any time, you will not receive any refund.
The host kindly asks that guests leave the cabin as they found it, or better. This is the guests' home during their stay, and they should treat it that way. This means cleaning and putting away dishes, cleaning the counters, and cleaning all floors and rugs (shaken out and put back as found, and if the floors are wooden, swept.) Guests should also haul off trash, and if there is a Dumpster available, leave it there. The Dumpster is on the property from May to October. Guests should not leave any trash in the building or outside exposed to the elements (like bears, birds, and wind). If guests do not comply with these rules, there will be a $50 deduction from the deposit. If guests haven't paid the deposit, they will be billed for the damage.
The prices listed for this cabin are based on double occupancy. For each person after two, there is a $10 fee per night. Each pet is also an additional $10 per night.
If additional guests are not cleared with the host prior to arrival, guests will be charged double when leaving. This will come out of the guest's damage deposit. That will be $20 per night for each and not $10.
The $250 damage deposit is 100% refundable if the cabin is left as found. The host stresses that guests need to leave their accommodations as they were found, or better.
The host also urges that guests bring the following with them: Linens for beds (blankets provided), towels, dish cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, drinking water (if guests don't like well water), and firewood if possible. Firewood is available, but guests must be conservative in their use.
Before checking out, the hosts asks that guests do the following:
Make sure the wood box is full and ready for the next guest. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.
Make sure dishes are clean and put away, and that the counters are left clean.
Make sure that floors are clean, and that rugs have been shaken out and put back as found. If the floor is wooden, guests should sweep. There are brooms and dust pans for guests to use. If the floor is carpet, then use the vacuum.
Guests must take garbage with them. If the on-site Dumpster is available, guests may use that. The Dumpster is on the property from May until October.
Finally, guests simply must clean any areas they used, including bathrooms and outside areas.
If guests do not do any of the above, there will be a $50 deduction from the guests' deposit.
Please be respectful of all guests and leave everything clean. Please remind children to do the same.

Please clean up after your pets or you will lose your deposit. You aren’t in the middle of the woods, you are in my yard. Scoop that poop!
Pets may not be left unattended inside the cabin! Pet owners who leave their pets unattended inside the cabin will be charged a $50 fee per pet. No one wants to listen to your dog bark while you are gone, and yes it will bark because it’s in a strange place and you left it to go play.
If not told before arrival all additional pets or guests will be $20 per night. Honesty is the best policy.
Remember you brought your dog here to be on a vacation not locked up or tied to a tree. Just like I don’t want to be tied to these cabins. I want to go play and you would not like my bark, so please respect this place and other guests.
Please contact the host, as exceptions to these policies can be made. Read More
