Description of Glamping Units

There are two custom-built, pet-friendly wooden cabins at this glamping site in Scotland. They resemble traditional upturned boat shelters and have a covered deck area and a remarkable surrounding view of the beach and cliffs. They are solid structures and heavily insulated with local sheep fleece. They also have double-glazed doors, power, and heating. Each accommodation is equipped with bedding, a water container, a rechargeable lamp, and hot water bottles. Bicycles and vehicles can be parked discreetly nearby, and an outdoor storage box is provided. It is an ideal location for a glamping trip with a four-legged friend. Read More

    Location + Surroundings

This ecological and organic farm faces south and east and overlooks sandy bays and sea-cliffs in the Scottish countryside in South Ronaldsay, the Orkney Islands, where there is nothing but nature, peace, space, and sky. This property is two miles away from the closest village that offers ferries back and forth between the Scottish mainland and 13 miles from the main island town. The buildings on the farm are 200 years old and have been renovated using local, traditional and sustainable materials. The land has been sensitively landscaped with areas set aside for conservation and areas specifically for tree planting. Read More
