Take the opportunity to explore the Sea of Cortez. A relaxed and friendly crew will ensure the trip of a lifetime as glampers explore above and below the beautiful blue waters of southern Baja California. Designed for those with a lower budget but higher expectations, this glamping site is the platform to dive and snorkel Jacques Cousteau's "Worlds Largest Aquarium."

On land, the scenery is varied with coastal desert plains to inland mountains and canyons. The climate is dry and arid. The ecology here is considered relatively young—the peninsula having broken away from the mainland about two million years ago but it includes many endemic species. The vegetation is limited to desert dwelling plants in lower coastal regions, which include the world's largest cactus, and at higher elevations, there is pine and holm oak forest. This allows for a diversity of bird, mammal and reptile life to be found around the state. The islands that glampers may choose to explore have stunning features and beautiful colors that are a photographers paradise, and they can also learn a little about the history of the area.

Espiritu Santo is a favorite spot for first-time visitors and locals alike. Declared a Natural Protected Area by the federal government, the island is a valuable conservation area. Being uninhabited by humans it is a haven for divers and snorkelers who are seeking an adventure. Pristine beaches make a great lunch destination, but it is the sea lion colony that is the real star at the site. Inquisitive and playful in the water, snorkeling and diving with these creatures is a truly amazing experience.

Additional info

The glamping site requires all divers to have dive insurance and they recommend DAN but please bring proof of current policy.

Travel insurance is also recommended as a way to protect the hard earned vacation.

Partying and drinking are allowed onboard the glamping boat and glampers are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages to supplement the nonalcoholic ones we offer. For those who are diving, remember that their first drink signals the end of their diving day, so whether it is a bloody mary at breakfast, margarita at lunch or wine in the evening, it does mean the end of diving for that day.

Smoking on board is allowed but only in designated areas above deck, there is no smoking allowed inside the vessel.
