This eco-friendly cabin is located on the shores of Lake Malawi, close to Nkhata Bay, and can accommodate six guests. There is one bedroom containing three sets of bunk beds. The cabin itself is made from locally-sourced materials and includes electricity and power points which require a square pinned, 3 prong plug, 220V (the same as the ones used in the UK). All bedding and mosquito nets are provided. Outside, there is a lovely balcony for guests to enjoy a wonderful view of the lake from.

Guests have exclusive access to the property's private beach, as well as the beach bar located away from the sleeping area to avoid bothering anyone with any noise. There is an internet center for guest use, as well as a kitchen serving up some delicious food, and even a cinema room that has screenings before dinner on most evenings. There is also a safe located in the main office should guests wish to keep their valuables in there.

Scenic views
This property is located in Nkhata Bay, right on Lake Malawi. Surrounded by crystal clear waters, tropical forests, and rocky headlands, it's an excellent spot for exploring as well as relaxing. Nkhata Bay is just east of Mzuzu and is one of the main ports on the lake. As a result, there are many shops, restaurants, and bars to investigate in the town.

There is something almost tropical about the scenery in this region, described in some publications as 'Caribbeanesque'. On a clear day, it's possible to see all the way across the lake to Mozambique! Guests are sure to enjoy this gorgeous, secluded location.

A cornucopia of exciting activities awaits the adventurous glamper. Snorkeling, trekking, boat trips, and cliff jumping are all great things to try out in the area, the latter being particularly appealing to guests who are craving an adrenaline rush. For a more relaxing time, the private beach is the ideal spot for sunbathing and lazing about with a good book or taking an afternoon nap.

Guests can head into the town of Nkhata Bay to have dinner in the local restaurants, drink in the bars, and wander the various shops available. Otherwise, there is both a bar and a kitchen on site should guests wish to stay put. There are many options to explore!

The ATM machines in Nkata Bay are notorious for being out of order. They only dispense up to 20,000 Kwacha, so it is best to stock up on cash in Mzuzu or Lilongwe before leaving for Nkata Bay. Standard Bank is recommended. Visa cards are the most widely accepted cards in Malawi and most of Africa, however, Mastercard is accepted at Standard Bank machines in Mzuzu and Lilongwe.
