Gold Hill

Gold Hill, named after the famous gold mines located in the south, is in southeastern Rowan County. It's a great glamping site to learn about the history of gold mining and also to explore the beautiful scenery surrounding it. Uwharrie National Forest is close by with plenty of activities. There are lakes for fishing, trails for hiking, and horse riding and water skiing are also popular activities. High Rock Lake is 20 miles north of Gold Hill and is a popular fishing destination. Other water-based activities include jet skiing, water skiing, and kayaking. Gold Hill and its vast range of activities and picturesque views provides something for everybody while glamping.
