Staples

Based in northeastern Guadalupe County, Texas, the city of Staples is located on the western bank of the San Marcos River in the outskirts of San Antonio and it makes for a relaxing getaway in nature. Guests can visit nearby Canyon Lake and enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating or head to Canyon Lake Gorge for a unique tour of the Hill Country geology. Hikers should follow the 7.5-mile Madrone Trail for the superb views of the lake.
