Located near Sam Houston National Park this pet-friendly cabin can sleep four guests in two bedrooms. There is a king bed in the first room and two twin beds in the second room. There is one full bathroom in the cabin, with an antique sink and up to date plumbing.
In the living there is a TV and DVD player, providing glampers with a space to relax in the evenings. The kitchen has an oak table and chairs, and enough amenities to make snacks, with a microwave, toaster oven, and refrigerator. When guests are ready for a little exploring, the rental is just a short distance away from many local attractions such as the Big Thicket National Preserve. The towns of Kountze, Lumberton, Beaumont, and Silsbee are all easily accessible from the property and offer dining and entertainment options. Silsbee also has a great water park for the kids to enjoy. Further afield, the city of Houston offers a range of cultural sights to discover.
With advance notice, a delicious country dinner is available for $26.00 per person. This includes guests' choice of brisket, chicken, pork, or fish as the entree. A salad, starch, vegetables, bread, and dessert are included. Guests are welcome to bring wine for dinner.
The hosts can also bring a delicious candlelight dinner to the accommodation for $36.00 per person which is ideal for special occasions.

The Big Thicket National Preserve of Southeast Texas is one of the most popular attractions in the area and is located just down the road from the property. The Preserve is home to natural wetlands and hundreds of unique species of wildlife. Bird watching is a favorite activity for many visitors. Guests can also hike, bike, and enjoy other fun and educational activities with the new Visitor Center.
Canoeing along Village Creek, the Neches River, or through the Big Thicket is one of the most popular activities for visitors. Several area canoe outfitters offer the options of renting canoes for the day or signing up for one of their guided tours.
Beautiful golf courses, gorgeous bicycle trails, horseback riding, bird watching, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and hiking are a few of the activities available for the outdoor enthusiast.
