Joseph

Joseph is a small city in Oregon, which rests near the eastern border that crosses into Idaho. It is a place surrounded almost entirely by mountains, and on the shores of the serene Wallowa Lake, which makes it a perfect place to come on a camping trip. Hike around the water’s edge, or stop to take in the lakeside views when you have a picnic in sunny weather. Here, you can also follow a dense network of hiking trails that lead up into the surrounding mountains. For more challenging hikes, climb the Two Pan Trailhead, which offers stunning mountain views as you explore. You could even climb the highest mountain in the area- Sacajawea Peak- where you can find snow capping the mountain and glistening in the sun.
