Description of Glamping Units
This enchanting three-bedroom cabin near the Sierra Nevada has the charm of a rustic cabin from the historic ranch days of the past. However, it includes all the luxuries glampers have come to expect from a modern cabin—soft textured upholstery, comforters, wooden floors with western style rugs, and granite counter tops.
The cabin can sleep six adults and a well-behaved dog very comfortably. One bedroom features a king-size bed, the second room features a queen-size bed, and the third room features two twin-size beds. The lounge contains a delightful leather couch, lounge chairs, and coffee table. The vaulted ceilings and stone fireplace provide the perfect ambiance to reflect on the day's adventures, and the hardwood floor surrounding the fireplace is a favorite napping spot for glamping pets.
The cabin also contains a private porch which is an amazing spot to observe nature during the day or relax after a day of exploring under a blanket of stars. It is also a favorite spot to prepare meals on the gas-powered barbecue, giving guests the freedom to dine outside. If glampers would like to dine inside, the cabin contains a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and coffeemaker—all available to enjoy at the dining room table with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. Golf is very popular here and guests will have access to the Grizzly Ranch Golf Course, which includes practice facilities such as a driving range, short-game area, and putting greens. There is also a shop that has a complete selection of golf equipment, accessories, and attire.
Trout fishing is available in the on-site creek and boating and fishing on Lake Davis is just five minutes up the road.
Guests can explore the virtually limitless trails and varied terrain on foot or mountain bike—or horseback, like the early settlers. Backroads and country lanes are ideal for heart pounding road bikes or more leisurely excursions on single gear cruisers.
When guests are ready for a little civilization, they can try the nearby Gold Rush towns, with their cozy taverns and restaurants and charming antique shops.
