Description of Glamping Units
This dog-friendly cabin rental in Northern California provides a rustic retreat right by the Trinity River. It can sleep up to three guests and has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is also a twin-sized bed in the living room, and an additional person can sleep on the sofa. Upon request, two more guests can be accommodated in the nearby cabin. All linens and towels are provided for the convenience of guests.
This accommodation has a bathroom with a vanity, a sink, a toilet, and a combination bathtub and shower. If there are more than three people in the group, then guests will also have access to the bathroom in the trailer, which has a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub and shower. The bathtub in the trailer is smaller than the bathtub in the main cabin. In the living room of the cabin, guests will find a love seat, a small, antique secretary desk with a rolling chair, a television with DishTV, and an iPod dock. There is a dining table between the living room and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a refrigerator and freezer, and a coffeemaker. Assorted basic pantry items and all necessary cookware and tableware are provided.
Dogs will love to get cozy by the wood-burning stove, and this luxury cabin also has gas and electric heat. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, detergent and dryer sheets, and a variety of books and board and card games. An optional housekeeper or private chef are available upon request for an additional fee. There is a large parking lot at the entrance to the site that can accommodate bigger vehicles, boats, and trailers. There is a nearby shared patio with a barbecue and a fire pit. There is also a salmon hole and a river rope swing. A landline telephone is shared with the other cabins, and long distance calls in the contiguous US are complimentary. There is a stand-alone cabin next to this cabin that can also be rented so that guests have another bedroom.

This cozy riverfront cabin dates back to the mid-1800s. It is located on the Trinity River near Douglas City, about 10 minutes from Weaverville in Northern California. It’s also only 45 minutes west of Redding, but it truly feels a world away.
The shared barbecue patio sits between this glamping cabin and another glamping vacation rental on the property. Each cabin is oriented so that guests have their privacy, but some parties rent all of the cabins for small weddings, family reunions, and company off-sites.
