Listen to the singing of the creek nearby. The cozy, pet-friendly yurt is 20 feet in diameter. It’s spacious and comfortably fits two-three people. This accommodation is the perfect place to escape from the rest of the world. Pets are welcome to sleep inside the accommodation in comfort alongside their owners. Inside the yurt, glampers will sleep on a rustic handmade, wooden loft bed. The room downstairs has a double fold out futon. The yurt has a kitchen area, a sitting area, a wood stove, and a composting outhouse. Other things to expect within the yurt include a full-sized loft bed area, a double futon couch that can convert into a bed, a coffee table, an electric light, and a coleman white gas stove. There are also pots, pans, a cutting board, cooking and eating utensils, cleaning supplies, a broom, a dust pan, a sink.
There is a Coleman stove for cooking and an outside grill, a small sink, and a cooler is available to keep food outside, with ice bottles that you can rotate from the freezer in the main house. There is a shower inside or outside at this yurt, with hot water (guests can carry a bucket of water from the creek, and pump through the hot water heater to the shower). Guests will also have dry firewood. In winter, guests may want to keep the fire going at night by stoking it once in the middle of the night— especially on cold nights. In the summer, the windows open up with screens.
Some things glampers might want to think about bringing include appropriate clothes for the weather, sleeping bags and slippers, a blow-up mattress or airbed for additional accommodation, and food. Read More
