This renovated, rustic barn makes for a fantastic pet-friendly vacation rental in southwestern Vermont. All of the amenities of home can be found inside, while luxurious touches make it the perfect place to just relax and unwind in style. There is room for up to eight happy glampers here, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second room boasts two single bunk bed sets. The sofa bed can be equipped with a queen-sized mattress topper to accommodate extra guests, and the bathroom features a shower with heated floors, as well as an attached laundry space.
The kitchen area has a rustic feel with stainless steel appliances with wooden touches. It is fitted with everything guests will need to provide meals for themselves throughout their stay. The gourmet-style kitchen includes a modern stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. All essential utensils, equipment, cutlery, and dishes can also be found in the kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen lies the unique dining room with a large wooden table that has seating for six.
The sleek media area has a comfortable-sized leather couch and two lounge chairs around a coffee table. The media room also boasts a large television with satellite programming and a DVD player. There is an additional sitting room with large white couches, comfortable leather lounge chairs, a library, as well as a wood-burning stove for optimum coziness during the winter months.

This property features all of the essentials needed for a comfortable and luxurious glamping experience in southern Vermont. Equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite television, and Wi-Fi throughout the house, as well as a washing machine, clothes dryer, and an iron and ironing board, guests will feel like they have never left home. Linens, towels, and a hairdryer are provided for guests free of charge throughout their stay. Vermont is notorious for its rolling farmlands, wooded landscapes, and endless mountains. Each season has its own perks, from summer to winter, therefore glampers here are lucky every time of year.
Warm weather months are great for exploring the lush green landscapes around the property. Hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, geocaching,horseback riding, and trekking are popular activities in the area. Nearby state forests such as Taconic State Park, Grafton Lakes State Park, and Clarksburg State Forest are nice locations for a day trip for participating in activities such as kayaking, canoeing, picnicking, fishing, and photography. The tri-state area is home to many wild animal species such as wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, and even bears and moose!
During the winter months, glampers can take advantage of the snow covered ground and practice cross-country skiing and snowshoe. Local ski resorts open their doors and are popular among locals and visitors for downhill skiing and snowboarding. When the rivers and lakes freeze, ice skating is a popular winter sport.
If guests choose to get a break from the outdoor, they can venture into the towns of Bennington and Williamstown for a bite to eat or a glass of wine. Vermont and the surrounding areas are known for the farm fresh produce and cheese, so guests can taste the local gastronomy in popular restaurants and bars in town. Antiquing is also popular in town, as well as shopping at local boutiques. These towns also are home to golf courses, so golfers should not forget their favorite clubs.

For guests coming in the summer that wish to use the outdoor hot tub, they must let the hosts know beforehand. During the summer months, the hot tub remains empty, but the host will be happy to fill it for guests who wish to use it. Bicycles can be provided for guests on the property, but hosts must be notified of this request before arrival.
There is a $600 refundable damage deposit, or $800 with pets.
This property is pet-friendly, but pets must be approved beforehand.
If the host is given ample time ahead of guests arrival, they can make the entrance wheelchair accessible.
