Description of Glamping Units
This pet-friendly cabin rental can be found on a private lake set in the midst of the Hiawatha National Forest. Up to 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated along with their furry friends, with four bedrooms. Each of these rooms has large windows overlooking the lake, with three of them boasting private entrances. Two have patio doors opening onto the large deck space, just 15 feet from the lake's edge. Two also come with a double bed and a single bed, while the other two feature double beds.
For indoor entertainment, guests have access to a Direct TV with DVD player, as well as a games room including a foosball table, pool table, and ping-pong table. The kitchen is 800 square feet, and finished with cherry wood cabinets and tiled counter tops. Set on a beautiful, privately owned lake in Upper Michigan, this property is secluded and set right in the middle of Hiawatha National Forest. The Upper Peninsula is bordered by the exceptional St. Marys River to the east, Lake Michigan and Huron set northeast and Lake Superior to the north. Here guests will have a small beach for children and a swim platform for teenagers and adults. Guests will have a canoe, two kayaks, two row-boats and a paddle boat available for guests' use.

Freshwater fishing is a popular activity here, as the surrounding waters offer various native fish including, Muskie, Large Mouth, Crappie and plenty of pan fish. With two and a half miles of shoreline and a 42 acre stocked lake, guests will enjoy everything from canoeing to kayaking and even paddle boating. In the winter, head to Rapid River Ski Trail for quality snowshoeing. In the warmer months, spend time at Haymeadow Creek Falls Trail, the Maywood History Trail or the Felch Grade Route ORV Trail. Be sure to catch the sunrise from Peninsula Point Lighthouse and explore the Peninsula Point Lighthouse Interpretive Trail. Lastly, guests will spend plenty of days lounging on the upper deck of this lovely waterfront property.
