This private, dog-friendly cabin is located just inside Adirondack State Park in Upstate New York where dogs are given a warm welcome meaning the whole family can enjoy a fantastic vacation. The wooden floors and high ceilings give a light and airy feel, but there is also a wood-burning fireplace in the living area to create a cozy and warming feel in winter. There is a small basic kitchen which has a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, a four-burner electric oven/stove, a dining table with chairs, and a small selection of kitchen appliances. The sleeping arrangements include a queen-sized pull-out couch, one queen-sized bed, and one twin-bedded room. There are two bathrooms, along with a washer and a dryer. The comfortable living has an electric baseboard heat throughout for the cooler months, and there is a gas grill on the deck. There is a security deposit of $500. $200 of the security deposit goes to the cleaning fee at the end of the stay.
Dogs are welcome for a non-refundable fee of $100, and there is a limit of two dogs. They must be comfortable in boats and canoes, as this property is water access-only. Bring a tie-down rope or kennel, as the hosts also have dogs. Excessive barking must be controlled.
Smoking is permitted outside only. Ashtrays are provided for the deck. Campfires both on the property's promontory and on Lean-to Island must be kept small and personally attended at all times and doused completely at evening's end. Read More
