This secluded, pet-friendly cabin rental makes for the ideal getaway for a small family or group heading to the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York. Up to four happy glampers and their furry friend can be accommodated here on an open floor plan design. A queen bed in the upper mezzanine, two single futons, and a pullout sofa provide the sleeping areas. The bathroom features both a bath and a shower, and is found just off of the sleeping area on the mezzanine.
Heading into the downstairs, glampers will find an abundance of nice furniture and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with utensils, lots of pots and pans, appliances, (including a burr coffee grinder and a digital kettle) some basic cooking essentials including oils and spices, freshly roasted coffee beans and an assortment of tea. The deck outside has an outdoor grill which is perfect for a summertime barbecue. Do not worry about over-packing because this unit comes with a washer and dryer.
The cabin is designed to take advantage of the ever-present breeze to stave off the summer heat and warm and toasty during the winter with base-board heat. There is a fully functioning wood stove for extra warmth and seasoned firewood is always available. This property is located just a short five miles away from the nearest main road, in the heart of the Hudson Valley and just across the way are the villages of Rhineback, Hyde Park, and the city of Poughkeepsie. This cabin is located on 40 secluded, forested acres in the Ulster County with magnificent views of the Catskill Mountains and seasonal views of Mohonk Mountain. Glampers will have access to nature from all angles at this site. The site is near New Paltz, Stone Ridge, High Falls and Rosendale and close to the world-renown cliffs of Shwangunks. When visiting The Belleayre and Hunter Mountain Ski region, glampers will find an unbeatable winter attraction which is just under an hour's drive from this site. Within a 12-mile radius of this site, guests can take a dip in the cool waters of Hudson River and visit the nearest beaches at Kingston Point. The Bellyeares Mountain is an hour's drive away, which offers excellent skiing and mountain biking opportunities. The local golf clubs are fabulous for those looking for a bit of relaxation on the greens. Glampers will also find an abundance of great restaurants, vintage antique stores, and art galleries. The nearby mountains and valley like the Shwangunks. are excellent hiking, trekking, and rock climbing spots.
The glamping cabin itself is probably the best place for glampers to relax, sit back, and enjoy all that nature has to behold.
