These pet-friendly rentals in southern Spain are called Cave Pastor and Cave Karmen. They share a garden in their communal patio area, and each cave has its own entrance. These caves are rented separately., and linens and towels are provided.
Cave Pastor can accommodate four guests. It has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a folding bed (measures 80 cm. by 180 cm.), as well as a bedside table with a lamp, a wall hook, and electric heating. The living room has a sofa bed (measure 90 cm. by 200 cm.), a dining room table with four wicker armchairs, a television, a wicker rocking chair, an iron fireplace, and a china cabinet. The fully-equipped kitchen has an electric hot plate with two burners, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a griddle, a dishwasher, and cookware and tableware. A mop, a broom, and cleaning cloths are also provided. Finally, there is a private bathroom that is divided into two parts: on one side, there is a shower, and on the other side, there is a sink and a toilet. Basic toiletries are provided.
Cave Karmen can accommodate nine guests. It has three bedrooms in total. The first bedroom has three twin-sized beds and a folding bed (measures 80 cm. by 180 cm.), as well as a bedside table, a wall hook, and two bars on the walls with hangers for hanging clothes. This bedroom's bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet, and toiletries are provided. The second bedroom has two twin-sized beds and a folding bed (measures 80 cm. by 180 cm.), as well as a bedside table with a lamp, a suitcase rack, and two bars on the walls with hangers for hanging clothes. This bedroom's bathroom has the same features as the first bedroom. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, as well as a wall hook, a suitcase rack, a fireplace, chairs, an armchair, and two bars on the walls with hangers for hanging clothes. The third bedroom's bathroom only has a toilet and a sink, but this bedroom does have a direct exit to the outdoors. In the living room of this cave rental, there are two sofa beds (each measuring 90 cm. by 200 cm.), a cupboard, a dining room table with six wicker armchairs, a television, an iron fireplace, electric heating, a window to the outdoors, and two closets, one of which is built-in. There is an outdoor pool for all guests to use in the summertime. In addition, there is a paddleball court, 4x4 or ATV trails (available to rent on-site), and a petanque court.

Guadix is a city located in the south of Spain in the autonomous region of Andalusia. There are a number of beautiful sights to see while in Guadix, such as the Guadix Cathedral, the Church of St. Augustine, the Church of Santiago, the Convent and Church of the Conception, the Alcazaba, and the Barrio de Santiago. There is a local annual festival, the Fiesta de Cascamorras, which happens every year on September 6. In 2006, it was declared a "National Tourist Interest" in Spain, and it may be fun for glampers to plan their vacation around this festival in Guadix. In addition to the Sierra Nevada range and all that it has to offer, this glamping site is also close to a number of charming pueblos, such as Jerez del Marquesado and La Calahorra, that guests should most certainly visit.
Guests can go ATV-ing or play paddleball or pentanque on-site. In the summer, there is an outdoor pool open for all guests to use, too. Come nighttime, there is very little light pollution or contamination, which allows for excellent stargazing conditions all year round.
For a weekend stay, the hosts recommend a relaxing schedule, including little more than a tranquil dinner out in Guadix at one of the local dining establishments, such as Boabdil, La Tinaja, or Granadul. Waking up on Saturday, guests should get ready for a full day of outdoor adventure at the Parque Nacional de Sierra Nevada, later heading to the lovely small towns of the Marquesado del Cenete area. Guests can also do an easy hike—great for families!— to the "End of the World," or Fin del Mundo, which is only 10 minutes from the glamping property. Don't forget to stop at a wonderful pastry shop, La Oriental, on the way home, located in the Guadix town hall square. On Sunday, go for churros for breakfast in Guadix, and then explore this charming city, including a comfortable ride around town on the tourist train.

High season includes all of August and any long holiday weekends throughout the year. Special season is New Year's Eve/New Year's and Holy Week (Semana Santa).
