Description of Glamping Units

Glampers will have the choice of three eco-friendly yurts. These yurts are a combination of the concepts of a Mongolian yurt and the concepts of a Celtic roundhouse. All of the yurts have the same features.

The yurts were constructed at the glamping site with all local materials and are fully lined and insulated, the outside of the yurts are cased with a waterproof coating.

Inside the yurts there is traditional and handcrafted furniture, beautiful bed frames, and bedside tables. Up to four glampers and their furry friend can stay in a yurt and they either have a king-sized bed and two twin-sized beds. There is a wood-burning stove in each yurt to keep the glampers warm at night. Linens are provided but the hosts recommend that the glampers bring extra blankets.

The glampers of all the yurts share a kitchen and bathroom facilities. The bathroom facilities include showers and eco-friendly, dry composting toilets. Towels are not provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and glampers will have to bring their own food, there are two communal fridges. There are communal wood burning or charcoal barbecue. Close to the kitchen is a children’s play area and plenty of outdoor seating. Read More
