Throughout the province, there are four distinct seasons. Spring is a wet season, while winters can bring some heavy snow. Summers in southern Ontario can be quite warm and humid, with temperature highs sometimes approaching 104º F (40º C). Winters have also known to be as cold as -40º F (-40º C).
