With Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Paws program, owners receive 1,000 club miles for shorter flights and 2,000 club miles for longer flights. Because Virgin Atlantic prohibits pets in the cabin, all dogs and cats must travel in cargo. Dogs and cats of all sizes are welcome to travel. Pet owners can rest assured that the cargo hold is climate-controlled and similar to first class. PetSafe is United Airlines’ program for transporting animals that are not eligible to travel in the cabin. Services offered by PetSafe include airport-to-airport travel for animals, a dedicated 24-hour PetSafe desk, the ability to track a pet from origin to destination, and much more. Reward members can also earn 500 MileagePlus award miles for each PetSafe shipment within the U.S and 1,000 miles for all other shipments.

Continental Airlines- PetPass

Continental Airlines’ has PetPass, in which pets that travel in cargo will earn their owner a frequent flyer mile for every dollar they spend on the transportation of the pet. Owners will be able to track their pet, ensuring safety and reassurance.
